Event signup fields and Supporter Profile
When you sign up to attend an event, Mobilize collects the following information:
First and last name
Email address
Phone number (optional in most cases)
ZIP code
Mobilize also creates a Supporter Profile for you after you sign up for an event. This profile contains the above information, plus a list of organizations you've supported in the past and other shifts you've signed up for with the hosting organization.
Organization access to personal data
Only users on the hosting organization’s Mobilize dashboard can access your personal data - this means dashboard admins and event hosts of the events you sign up for.
If you sign up for an organization's event that's being promoted on another organization's event feed, the promoting organization and promoted organization will both see your signup data.
Event attendees cannot access each other's personal data.
Organizations may may use exports or CRM integrations to store your personal data in other systems.
Page views and third-party tracking
Mobilize stores data on user page views and the browser and IP address used to access each page; this data is only visible to Mobilize staff.
Mobilize also uses cookies to store user data. In compliance with privacy regulations, when you first navigate to a Mobilize page, you'll see a banner that asks whether you consent to cookies and third-party analytics and tracking.
Tracking cookies are set to opt-in by default for non-EU visitors who haven't opted out.
If a site visitor selects "Reject All" or specifically opts out of targeting cookies, tracking events will not be sent to Meta Pixel and Google Analytics.
Our third-party consent provider will remember your preference for future visits. Click on the cookie icon in the bottom left corner of the page to update your preferences at any time.
Platform policies
When you complete the sign up form to attend an event, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. There is also an optional checkbox to consent to receiving SMS messages from the organization directly. This data and subscription is managed by the organization.
Delete your account
To delete your Mobilize account, email [email protected] from the email you want to delete with a deletion request.
Important note: When a Mobilize account is deleted, Mobilize removes the user’s personal data from our systems, but organizations may still retain data they previously exported or synced to other systems.
