How Shift Data is Displayed in Exports and in Dashboards

A quick walkthrough how to match the fields you see in your Event Details and your Exports.

Updated over a week ago

The supporter data between your Dashboard's event or timeslot details and your Exports should match, even if they may look a little different at a cursory glance! This article will explain how the fields match up between the sources of data.

Dashboard to Exports translated:

Registered

Registered is shared between Event Details, Shift Details, and Exports. In your CSV document, you can find this under the status column. All attendees will be marked REGISTERED by default unless they have responded to our Confirmation email or SMS.

Confirmed

Confirmed is shared between Event Details, Shift Details, and Exports. In your CSV document, you can find this under the status column. CONFIRMED will overwrite REGISTERED in that column if the supporter has confirmed. Find out when attendees are asked to confirm here.

Completed

Completed does not appear in Exports. To check whether a supporter actually went to your event, you will have to look under the attended column. If marked TRUE, the attendee either responded to our Post-shift Feedback Email and SMS or an organizer has manually updated their signup status in Timeslot Details. A supporter's corresponding field under the column status may remain REGISTERED or CONFIRMED, depending on whether or not they responded to our Confirmation email or SMS. Additionally, Mobilize can automatically capture attendance when a supporter clicks or taps the "link to join" for all virtual events โ€“ not just Zoom events! The "automated check-in" feature can be enabled on your organization's Settings page:

No-Show

No-Show is not specifically indicated in Exports at this time. A supporter's corresponding field under the column status may remain REGISTERED or CONFIRMED, and the column attended may be blank unless they responded to our Post-shift Feedback Email and SMS that they did not attend.

Cancelled

Cancelled is shared between Event Details, Shift Details, and Exports. In your CSV document, you can find this under the status column. CANCELLED will overwrite REGISTERED or CONFIRMED in that column if the supporter cancels their registration at any point.

All signups

All signups is a field you can find under your Dashboard's Past event tab. You may have noticed that sometimes All signups may not match Total in Event Details, but it should match the event's Shifts and Signups Export. It can be perplexing at first, but All signups measures across Registered, Confirmed, Completed, No-Show, and Cancelled supporters across all Timeslots in an event. The Total displayed in Event Details only summarizes Registered, Confirmed, and Completed, which you now know can be altered via the emails and SMS we send out or manually by Event Owners and Admins.
