Email attendees from the Event Details page
Email attendees from the Event Details page

As a Volunteer Host, you can email your event attendees directly from the event details or shift details page.

Updated over a week ago

Volunteer Hosts can use Mobilize Messaging to send an email to attendees of any events that they own.

Email recipients can respond to the sender of the email only and will receive a copy of their sent email.

Recipients can report an email sent by an event owner as inappropriate or containing spam. If an email is reported, an email will be sent to the event campaign reply-to email with details of the report, email, and sender.

Email attendees from the event details page

Step 1: Select the 'Email attendees' button

Step 2: Select whether attendees of Upcoming shifts or Past shifts should receive your email. In some cases, if there is a shift that is currently in progress, the audience optionality changes from all past shift times to all past and current shift times.

Note: If a volunteer is scheduled for more than one shift time for the event, in the time criteria chosen, they will only get one email.

Step 3: Select which registration or attendance statuses should receive your email

  • If sending to attendees of Upcoming shifts, senders can choose registration statuses only: ‘registered’, ‘confirmed’, ‘canceled’

  • If sending to attendees of Past shifts, senders can choose attendance statuses only: ‘no-show’, ‘completed’, ‘canceled’, ‘status unknown’

Step 4: Complete the 'Subject' and 'Message' fields. You can utilize Markdown to make stylistic changes or add hyperlinks to the email message.

Step 5: Click the 'Send email to [#] attendees' button to send your message

Step 6: Check your email inbox for a receipt confirming your message was sent
