🔍 Browse organizations actively seeking hosts
Go to mobilize.us and select the "Events to Host" tab or go directly to mobilize.us/volunteerhost
Mobilize has a dedicated "Events to Host" tab where organizations post event campaigns they are recruiting hosts for. This is the best place to start if you're not sure what's out there.
Browse campaigns from organizations that are actively looking for volunteer hosts
Use the filters to narrow by date or organization
Select a campaign that interests you and select "Create an event" to submit an event
If you can't find the event campaign you're looking for, the organization may not have a public event campaign available. In this case, complete a Host Interest Form.
🔁 Host another event with the same organization
If you've already hosted an event on Mobilize and want to host another with the same organization, you can check for current event campaigns to join. There are two ways organizations publicize event campaigns:
Featured event campaigns will be available directly from a New Event button on your host dashboard, as seen below.
Log in to Mobilize using the same email address you used when hosting your previous event(s).
Find your host dashboard by navigating to Menu > Organize for > [Organization name]. Look for the New Event button.
If you see it, select the button to be taken to a new event creation form. You can now complete the form and submit your event!
If you don't see it, the organization does not currently have a featured event campaign.
Public event campaigns will be listed on
mobilize.us/[organizationslug] at the "Host an event" link at the top of the feed, like this:
If you see the link, select it to navigate to the host interest form page, then scroll down and look for the "Choose an event to host" section.
If you don't see this section, the organization does not currently have a public event campaign.
If you're unable to find a featured or public event campaign with your preferred organization, you can reach out to your contacts at the organization directly to inquire about hosting an event.
🤝 Partner with an organization you know
Heard of an organization on Mobilize that's doing work you want to get involved with? You can visit their Mobilize feed directly to find opportunities.
Head to the organization’s Mobilize feed:

If you see the link, select it to submit a form expressing your interest in hosting. The form looks like this:
Next, scroll down to look for the "Choose an event to host" section - if that section is visible, it will list available event campaigns you can join. Select Create your event to immediately create an event and submit it to the organization!
If you don't see "Choose an event to host", just submit the host interest form. The organization will reach out to you with next steps.
If the "Host an event" link is not visible:
The organization may not be accepting new event hosts.
Click into any event on the feed and use the "Contact organization" button to inquire directly about hosting opportunities.
