What is a volunteer host?
A volunteer host on Mobilize is someone who creates and manages events on behalf of an organization, but isn’t a staff member of the organization. These individuals are typically Supporters who step up to organize actions -- often from their own homes or local venues.
Here’s what makes volunteer hosts special on Mobilize:
They empower grassroots engagement by making it easy for others to get involved locally.
They use the Mobilize platform to create, update, and manage their own events.
Some events are reviewed by the organization they’re hosting for, to ensure alignment with messaging and mission.
