Mobilize Free Trial Overview

Get hands-on with Mobilize by creating events, recruiting volunteers, and managing signups with a free trial dashboard, also known as a Starter account

Create a trial dashboard

  1. Click the "Get a free trial account" button in the lower left corner

Here are some resources to help you get started with your new dashboard:

⚠️ New trial dashboard review period

Some new dashboards are reviewed before going live on the mobilize.us website. Events may not appear in public feeds immediately after account creation. Event signup links should be tested before distributing to confirm that events are visible to the public.

Upgrade

Complete the demo form on https://join.mobilize.us/get-started/ or email [email protected].

All existing data carries over when a trial account is upgraded — events, signups, and team members included. Let the sales team contact know the organization would like to upgrade the trial.

Usage limits

Starter accounts include three caps: 5 dashboard users, 5 events, and 50 volunteer signups.

Once any cap is reached, a 30-day countdown to deactivation begins. Signup caps are soft limits — the dashboard remains usable during that window and signups can continue to exceed the cap.

The dashboard user cap and the event cap are hard limits and cannot be exceeded. A maximum of 5 users and 5 events can be added to the dashboard. If a user is added then deleted, it still counts against the 5 user limit.

Note on petition signatures: Each petition signature counts as 1/10 of a signup, so an organization can collect up to 500 petition signatures before reaching the 50-signup cap.
